A great roundtable discussion in Niagara Falls with our tourism partners and the Honourable Randy Boissonnault during the tourism minister's visit to Niagara recently. We discussed challenges and opportunities coming out of the pandemic, and how we can best welcome the world back to Niagara.
The minister's visit also included a trip to Pillitteri Estates Winery where we met with several representatives from the wine industry and grape growers to discuss the importance of wineries to the Canadian tourism industry and the specific challenges they face as the economy reopens. Many people worldwide visit Niagara to experience the unique, high-quality wines our local industry produces.
The minister also received a sampling from Niagara College's incredible culinary program. Thank you to the whole Niagara College team who joined us today to highlight the great work you are doing both on your campus and throughout our community.
