The city of Welland showed off its pride in advancing the causes of equality and inclusivity with the unveiling of a new Rainbow Crosswalk in support of the LGBTQ+ community today. Mayor Frank Campion and the WDBIA and the LGBTQ+ Advisory Committee recognized the many organizations and businesses which helped cover the cost of the painted crosswalk. While I was in Ottawa during the unveiling, I couldn’t be prouder to offer my support towards building a country where everyone is free to love who they love, is equal under the law and feels included.
