It was my honour to join representatives of the Canadian government last week in productive discussions with members of the Canadian American Business Council at the Canadian Embassy in Washington to discuss “The North American Rebound” and how we can strengthen the Canada-US partnership. I also met with some of our strategic partners in the U.S. government, including Senators Ben Cardin, Senator Bill Cassidy, Senator Chris Coons, and recent presidential candidate Senator Amy Klobuchar. We even bumped into former Conservative leader Erin O'Toole during our visit. We may have different political beliefs, but we're all Canadians on foreign soil.
