On Monday, representatives from the Great Lakes Fishery Commission, the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Cities Initiative/Alliance Grands Lacs St-Laurent, the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, the Council of the Great Lakes Region, the Ontario Commercial Fisheries Assoc, and more were in Ottawa for our Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Day on the Hill. The Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River are bi-national treasures that we hold in trust for future generations. They support hundreds of thousands of jobs, billions of dollars in trade, and economic output, they are a source of clean drinking water for millions, and they are part of an environmental trust we all share. Thanks to these groups for helping to keep the Great Lakes great, and thanks to all Members for supporting this essential work.
