It was very exciting to present at the torch-lighting marking the beginning of The Niagara 2022 Summer Games torch relay.
Over 60 days, the Niagara Games torch relay started in Ottawa and will travel 1,200 km by foot, bike and boat across 21 communities through Quebec and Ontario. From Montreal, the flame will travel by ship to Niagara, arriving in Thorold on June 25, followed by July 3 at Port Colborne, July 10 in Welland, and July 31 in St. Catharines (with other stops planned in all 12 municipalities.)
