Lest we forget

My staff and I attended Remembrance Day ceremonies in Port Colborne, Thorold, Merritton, and Welland last week.

We continue to stand as a nation today because of the sacrifices of men and women who were prepared to pay whatever price was necessary for the protection of loved ones and their homeland.

We enjoy great freedoms in Canada because brave men and women understood no freedom is possible without accepting our shared responsibility of citizenship.
