Our health care professionals have been under enormous pressure over the last few years, but they’ve been the bedrock of our system for much longer. We know they need the support of all levels of government, so it was important - and moving - to speak with members of Service Employees International Union (SEIU) yesterday with Labour Minister Seamus O'Regan and my good friend St. Catharines MP Chris Bittle.

So many lives depend on their ability to ensure we receive the care we need when we need it, and it was invaluable to listen to their stories and concerns about our health care system.
