Tourism in Niagara will never be the same.

Earlier this week, it was my pleasure with St. Catharines MP Chris Bittle to host Tourism Minister and Deputy Minister of Finance Randy Boissonnault as he unveiled the Federal Tourism Growth Strategy.

Bringing all the ministries of the federal government to the table, we are devoting ourselves to increasing visitors to Canada by at least 40 percent by 2030 with Niagara sure to lead the charge.

Vineyards, tender fruit crops, Niagara Falls, The Niagara Escarpment, Fort Erie at the intersection of the beautiful Niagara River and Lake Erie, seaside communities Wainfleet and Port Colborne, Welland on the Welland Canal, Thorold “Where the Ships Climb the Mountain”, Pelham and West Lincoln West Lincoln at our core, and Lincoln, St. Catharines and pretty Niagara-on-the-Lake supporting one of the most respected wine industry in the country - tourism is in Niagara’s blood. And we’re going after them!
