Saying hello to old friends and making new ones was the order of the day as my office hosted our annual Community BBQ in late August at the wonderful facilities at Club Richelieu in Welland.
We were entertained and enlightened on the meaning behind the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation coming September 30, and attendees also had the opportunity to purchase t-shirts and hoodees from the Fort Erie Native Friendship Centre recognizing this special day in September. I also want to thank “Got Magic?” magician Shaun Ferguson, and the terrific group at Club Richelieu and our good friend Ray Bourassa.
We now have Truth and Reconciliation lawn signs available at our office. Contact our office to collect yours. Limited availability.
